Beau (formerly River)

ADOPT got an update on Beau (formerly River) and he is sooo loved in his new home! River came to our group after he was found abandoned outside of our vet’s office, and we’re so glad he found a wonderful family to love him!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Pappy (formerly Titan)

ADOPT recently received an update on Pappy (formerly Titan) from his forever family! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Everything is going very well. We’ve renamed Titan to Pappy and could not be more in love with him. He is so mild-mannered and sweet and he seems to have an old soul. We’ve been taking him to a weekly puppy play group to socialize him and he does really well with all the other puppies of various sizes and energy levels. He seems very socially mature for his age and never gets snarky. He’s really sweet to everyone he meets. I’m attaching a few pictures of him from over the past few months. He’s about 45 pounds so we think he’s going to be a big guy!

Dominick (formerly Domino)

ADOPT recently received an update on Dominick (formerly Domino) from his forever family! We hope you enjoy seeing how far he’s come as much as we did!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Dominick is growing by leaps. We were at a dog park for over an hour. He did interact with other dogs.
I believe no dog is lost…look at the bright eyes. ๐Ÿ™‚

Lucky (formerly Pippin)

ADOPT recently got an update on Lucky (formerly Pippin) from his new family! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Pippin, now named Lucky, is doing great! He and our other pup, Penny – yes, like Lucky Penny haha – love playing together and could chase each other around the backyard for hours. Lucky is so funny, floppy and gives tons of kisses. He hasn’t met a person he doesn’t love. Besides cuddling in bed in the morning, eating is definitely his favorite part of the day – he spins in circles when it’s meal time! It’s so cute. He also has the most adorable snaggle tooth and makes the silliest snorting sounds. We would love to get his DNA tested and see what all he’s made of. We have been taking him to puppy classes and he’s learned a ton. He knows sit, spin, touch, down and wait (half the time – can’t blame him food is just too exciting).

I’ve attached some pictures for you! Sorry there’s a bunch, he is just very photogenic! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Lucky, and his sister Penny:

Luna (formerly Dew Drop)

Luna (formerly Dew Drop) loves her new family and her new canine sister Pepper (an ADOPT alum!).  As you can see, sheโ€™s settled in pretty nicely!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Huey

ADOPT recently received an update on Huey from his new family! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I would like to thank you for putting Huey through your program. I couldnโ€™t be more happy! It has been a fun couple days already getting to know him! I am a very active person and will be taking him hiking and kayaking frequently.

Huey has been so perfect! He is a happy pup and is already at my side. He sleeps with me and comes out to do barn chores with me. He has already met my cat and dog, along with my parents 3 dogs, and my friends 2 dogs. He is definitely an at-my-side kind of dog.

My parents have 25 acres with woods and a small river where he is allowed to run and play. Iโ€™ve already taken him to a larger river and he liked the water there so I canโ€™t wait to take him kayaking – he already has a life vest.

Please tell his handler that I thank him so kindly and he did a wonderful job with this amazing dog!!!

Christie

ADOPT received an update on Christie from her new family.  She found a wonderful family that takes her for walks daily, has other furry siblings, and is loved dearly! ๐Ÿ™‚

Kona (formerly Freyja)

ADOPT heard from Kona’s (formerly Freyja) new family – we’re so happy to hear that she is fitting in great! ๐Ÿ™‚

Theodore (formerly Thor)

ADOPT received an update on Theodore (formerly Thor) from his new mom! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Just wanted to send an update on Theodore (formerly Thor). We call him Theo or Teddy Bear (or his full name, Theodore Samson, when heโ€™s not listening!). He is fitting right in with our family. He and Lily are best friends – they play together all the time at home and enjoy hanging out. He loves to go on walks and say hi to other dogs at the park, but itโ€™s hard to take pictures there because my hands are full with 2 leashes! Heโ€™s getting better with his separation anxiety, and has become a favorite at doggie daycare when he & Lily go once a week! This week the staff commented to me how playful he was compared to the last time he was there. Heโ€™s really coming into his personality, and weโ€™re so glad to have him in our home. Thank you to everyone at ADOPT for helping to get him here!!

Elvis

ADOPT recently received an update on Elvis from his new family! We love seeing how happy he is in his furever home, and hope you enjoy it, too! ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s been a little over a month since I adopted Elvis, so I wanted to send an update/major THANK YOU for caring for this sweet boy and all the other pups in ADOPT’s care.

Elvis is quite literally the perfect dog. He’s affectionate, will do ANYTHING for a belly rub,
walks well on a leash, and is friendly with everyone (human/canine/etc.) that he meets. He loves to go on walks around my neighborhood, join me at work, travel home to Cleveland to visit my family (and his dog-Uncle Tucker – pictured below), and play with his friends at doggie daycare. His favorite toys have squeakers in them, his favorite treats are mini-Milkbones, and he LOVES cheese. He is really just a great dog who has made my life/the move to an entirely new city infinitely better, and I wanted to say thank you for being there for him until I could bring him home.

Attached are some photos (including his reaction to getting adopted and heading to his furever home) of Elvis, in case you were wondering what he’s been getting up to these days.

Thank you again for all you do!
