General information: Bella is a smart, affectionate, active Shepherd mix who was surrendered to us after the owner realized that they did not have adequate time to care for her. She lived with a young child and is good with kids and other dogs but will chase cats. Her handler tells us that she goes to the door if she needs to go outside to “potty”, but if he doesn’t respond right away then she will have an accident. Bella is a beautiful girl who needs someone who can keep her mind and body active as well as understanding she is still a work in progress!

Adoption Application
Foster Application
Volunteer Application
We are an all volunteer organization based in Westerville, Ohio. To ensure that the pet is placed in a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment we require that one of our volunteers completes a home visit with any approved applicants.
Please note that we require that all pets in the household be spayed or neutered and are kept up to date on their vaccinations. All dogs must receive heartworm prevention.
We are currently reviewing applications within a 30 mile radius from Columbus, and from applicants age 21 and older. This does not mean your application will not be considered for a dog who has not been receiving many applications. We want to make sure all of our dogs find a good, forever home!
For dogs in the Canine-Inmate Program: Visits to the prison to meet a dog can only be made Monday through Friday between 8:30 am – 2:30 pm due to the facility’s visitation policies.
