Working at the Dog Wash!

Come join us Saturday June 15 for a Dog Wash to benefit ADOPT Pet Rescue. Champion Feed and Pet Supply Store is graciously hosting us for this event. They are located on SR161 on the west edge of Dublin – 7020 St. Rt. 161 Ste. A

Dog washes will be available from 11am – 3pm.
Cost is $5 per pet.
All proceeds go to ADOPT to allow us to help save more dog.

Sandy Gerace, ABCDT – Training Tips and Tricks by Dog Trainer

We are looking for volunteers to help

set-up beginning at 10am
work the event 11:00am-3:00pm
clean-up after 3:00 until 4:00pm

If you volunteer, please also bring old towels to help with drying the dogs after their bath.

Strikes for Strays Wrap-Up

Strikes for Strays was a huge success! Many thanks go out to our sponsors for the event: Columbus Square Bowling Palace for hosting us and Two Caterers for providing the food!

We had over 100 bowlers in attendance and raised almost $2000 for our rescue. Now, we’ll be able to save a few more dogs.

Oct 6 Silent Auction – Wrap Up

Our silent auction this past Saturday went well! We raised about $600 from our silent auction items & jewelry sales. We also collected another $200 in donations. This will definitely help us save a few more dogs. We still have a few donated items from the silent auction left and are planning on doing another one soon! 🙂

Gallery Hop Fundraiser – This Saturday!

Sugar was recently saved by ADOPT Pet Rescue and found her forever home!

Pets have a very special place in our hearts. We are excited to be a part of a great event this Saturday to help wonderful animals find wonderful families!

Elemental Veterinary Center and Pet Spa is generously hosting a fundraiser for A.D.O.P.T. Pet Rescue.

THIS SATURDAY night October 6th during the OCTOBER GALLERY HOP in the SHORT NORTH, join

Gallery Hop – October 6

ADOPT’s next fundraiser will be during the October 6th Gallery Hop. You can find us from 6-10pm at the Elemental Veterinary Center and Pet Spa, 1250 North High Street, Columbus. Free parking can be found in the parking lot behind the vet’s office. It is shaping up to be a really fun event and we’d love to see you there. Kittie’s Cakes will be there with their cupcakes (available to guests for a donation to ADOPT). Some of our current foster dogs will be in attendance so that they can find loving forever homes.

If you’re interested in helping out for the fundraiser feel free to leave a comment or submit a Volunteer Application so we can get in touch with you! 🙂 We’re looking for donations for a silent auction, folks to hold dogs and anyone with a great attitude who can help in any way.

Columbus Pet Expo

The 2012 Columbus Pet Expo is happening this weekend! Pet Expo has everything from rescue groups to veterinarians, contests to shows, and shopping for pet supplies to stuff for humans! Stop by and Play, Learn, Shop, and Adopt!

Where: Veteran’s Memorial (300 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215)
When: Friday, March 23rd from 4 – 9 PM; Saturday, March 24 from 10 AM – 8 PM; and Sunday, March 25th from 11 AM – 6 PM on.

PetSmart’s National Adoption Weekend

This weekend, November 11-13, PetSmart locations across the country will be holding adoption events. A.D.O.P.T. will be participating in this national event on Saturday, November 12.
