We would love for someone to look into her eyes and fall for Lola, Lo-La, Lola. This sweet girl loves attention and will bond closely with her person. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and cats. She loves the cats and will snuggle with them and try to groom them! She enjoys the other dogs but sometimes would prefer that she was the only one that got the attention. She knows several commands and is also housebroken. She is crate trained but will initially vocalize her disapproval of not being out and about! She settles right down, it’s just important that she gets to voice her opinion! Lola has done well with kids and has been to events where she was friendly with everyone. She is happy, healthy and ready for her forever home. That’s the way that we want it to stay, and always want it to be that way for Lola, Lo-la, Lola.

Recommended environment: Oakley is full of energy, ready to chase a ball and play play play! He will need to be adequately exercised and given an opportunity to be outdoors (whether its on walks, chasing a ball, or being given a place to follow a scent or trail.) He is crate trained and knows his basic commands. An apartment or condominium would not be a good fit for Oakley.

Cassia

Sometimes pictures don’t do a dog true justice, and this is one of those cases. Cassia is a deep, rich cinnamon color with the most soulful amber brown eyes. Her ears are long and velvety and she is genuinely one of the sweetest dogs. She is most likely a Redbone Coonhound mix, and if you do your research, you will find that the breed is very affectionate, loves being with its family, and has a strong desire to please. Cass is intelligent, gentle and genuinely loves to be close to her person. She likes the company of other dogs but would also do well being an only dog. She has not been cat tested. As with all dogs, she will need daily walks and the opportunity to use her nose to explore her surroundings. She will undoubtedly be a wonderful companion. Tucker

Tucker looks like something straight out of a Disney movie…and he’s fabulous enough to be in one! Tucker loves life, loves everything around him, and truly greets the day as if he’s happy to be alive. He has a beautiful honey colored coat with white feet, a white tipped tail and the most adorable “beard.” Tucker is good in his kennel, loves to be outdoors and explore, is fine around kids, and is a great medium size. He is energetic but not overly so. As an added bonus, he has a built in “off switch”! All you have to do is rub his ears and he practically melts. Tucker will make a wonderful family companion. The ideal home will provide him with outdoor walks and exploration time, indoor time that he gets to curl up next to his people, and of course, ear rubs. If you haven’t already gotten your Halloween candy…we happen to have the best kind right here! This pint sized Beagle girl is as sweet as her namesake. She came to us after being found along the roadside eating trash. It’s always amazing to see how resilient and loving these animals are after sometimes having had sad experiences out in the world. Candy is very affectionate and would love nothing more than to help greet trick-or-treaters from the doorway of her very own home. Felix

The name Felix means “happy, lucky” which suits this handsome boy perfectly. He could actually be described as happy-go-lucky! He’s a silly, goofy, funny ball of fluff who is very affectionate. He’ll sprawl out on the floor in the funniest poses and just lay there. Felix loves his toys and loves loves loves other dogs. Big, small, round, thin…he doesn’t care. He wants to be friends with ALL of the other dogs. Felix is very intelligent and knows his basic commands. He’s comfortable in his crate and housebroken. He’s pretty much the complete package! Bandit

The only thing this Bandit will steal is your heart. This big ole black Lab was set for euthanasia at a local shelter after having been someone’s companion and surrendered through no fault of his own. He arrived with some skin issues from being outdoors and an ear infection, both of which are being cleared up with medication. With proper nutrition his coat will regain that beautiful black coat shine. Bandit has a lot of affection to give and likes to lean on you for head scratches. If you’re looking for a solid companion, one who’s past all the young pup days of being wild and needing all the things that puppies do…this just might be your boy. He likes other dogs, he likes people, he likes walks (although he’s got some spunk and goes full steam ahead on the leash!) but mostly he likes that he gets a second chance. We like that too. Tawny is a beautiful Beagle mix with a soft white and cream colored coat. She has “Maybelline” eyes with a soulful expression. She’s a nice size at about 46 lbs and loves to be outdoors to explore. A trait shared by many Beagles and Beagle mixes is their desire for companionship. They are “pack animals” and like to have other canines or humans to keep them company. They require routine exercise to keep their minds stimulated and prevent boredom. They are very hearty, energetic yet also snugglers when it’s time to relax inside. Elvis

He ain’t nothing but a hound dog…or Border Collie/Basset mix…we’re not really sure what Elvis’ DNA would reveal but we know that he’s a hunk of love. He arrived from a kill shelter and has become a part of our canine-inmate program where he’s learning basic commands and making new friends. Elvis will drop down for a belly rub every chance that he gets. Af first he’s a little shy, but that goes away quickly and he is eager to get affection. Etta

Little miss Etta is an adorable little hybrid. We think she’s most likely a English Coonhound (also called a Redtick Coonhound) mix. This breed typically makes a great house pet and they develop deep bonds with their people. She is still just a puppy so proper socialization and training is highly recommended. She will do well in a home that allows her to snuggle with the family, nest in a favorite spot, and gives her the opportunity to use her nose to explore the outdoors.
