Housetrained: She uses a dog door in her foster home when she needs to go out.
Crate Trained: No. She’ll go in the crate but will bark. She wants to be with her people.
Recommended Environment: Bella would love a fenced in yard for quality hound time. She is nose down all the time. As a typical hound she barks to register a complaint or to express excitement; she will benefit from tolerant neighbors and probably isn’t suited to apartment life. Regular walks and visits to the dog park are a must! Belle is the ideal hiking/camping/traveling companion.
Additional Information: Belle was on her own for awhile and has some issues with sharing food and treats. Her foster is working on her resource guarding but her new owner will need to watch her during feeding if there is another dog in the home. Belle is docile, compliant, adventuresome, curious, cuddly and loving. She will be the best addition to someone’s home.
