Recommended Environment: Peaches will do best in a calm and quiet home with one or possibly two humans. She hasn’t been well socialized so doesn’t enjoy company or loud noises. Since she is a velcro dog, her person shouldn’t be gone for long periods of time. She’s not really interested in playing with other dogs but has lived with other dogs in the past. She LOVES her walks which will be helpful in trying to get her to a healthy weight. She has lived with a child in the home but would probably be best without one in the home as she adjusts to her new life.

Additional Information: Peaches was surrendered because her owner was having some health issues and could no longer care for her. Peaches was raised with another dogs but wasn’t exposed to other people or dogs outside the home. She is a little nervous meeting new people but is very attached to her person. She knows some commands-sit, leave it, come, gentle, no, inside, outside. She is terrified of fireworks; her new owner will have to be very careful with her on the 4th of July.

*Currently in our Canine Inmate Program.*
