Recommended Environment: Lady loves being with people! She has some separation anxiety so it would be best if she was not left alone for long periods of time. She would enjoy regular play time with another canine but doesn’t require one in the home.
Additional Information: Lady loves her toys and chasing lights and reflections. She would like a laser toy for Christmas. She is intelligent and is learning a lot of new commands. Continued training and positive reinforcement are necessary. She is very strong and will benefit from obedience training to help her become better on a leash. Lady is such a smart girl! She has learned so many new things and is well trained to Sit, Stay, Down, Leave It, Come, Sit Pretty, and Shake. She is ready to have a new family teach her even more. She is very loving and will be a great addition to any family.

Adoption Application
Foster Application
Volunteer Application
We are an all volunteer organization based in Westerville, Ohio. To ensure that the pet is placed in a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment we require that one of our volunteers completes a home visit with any approved applicants.
Please note that we require that all pets in the household be spayed or neutered and are kept up to date on their vaccinations. All dogs must receive heartworm prevention.
We are currently reviewing applications within a 30 mile radius from Columbus, and from applicants age 22 and older. This does not mean your application will not be considered for a dog who has not been receiving many applications. We want to make sure all of our dogs find a good, forever home!
For dogs in the Canine-Inmate Program: Visits to the prison to meet a dog can only be made Monday through Friday between 8:30 am – 2:30 pm due to the facility’s visitation policies.
